So, did this actually change the Unicode case conversion tables? If not, the primary point stands: the non-locale-based Unicode case conversion algorithm still requires the original composition/decomposition.

I do not know when or even if unicode will follow.

Oh, so this was just a German language decision, not a Unicode d= ecision. So until the Unicode specification and data tables themselves chan= ge, the example is still valid.
