Why std::auto_ptr, std::strstream et al were deprecat= ed? Because today we have better solutions. GUI and GUI libraries are evolv= ing. Imagine MFC mid-90's vintage being the part of Standard. GUI syste= m is a very sophisticated thing. Much more complex than vector class or sor= ting algorithm.
