Do you think this analogy works for you? I'd say it's better suited to you
and this thread. Giving an orthogonal meaning to *this* is a huge new
hammer with which to confuse coders or tempt them to overuse - and one for
which I don't see a real need. So I've not got a hammer in this debate. Or
did you mean something else?

We can agree to disagree, but read naively (which I might well be doing),
this is an ill-fitting analogy that implies I'm some unsophisticated coder
who just waves around a hammer, instead of seeing the genius of your
proposed scalpel, or whatever you think this is.
