I only suggested it since it stood out, from the = perspective of someone who does use ref-qualification pretty thoroughly. Qualification makes things run smoother. It=E2=80=99s only arcane as long a= s nobody uses it. Changes to operator=3D don=E2=80=99t make a fair comparis= on, since that would have broken a lot of legacy code.
