silly, who's going to maintain that implementation?  Can you get IBM, 
Microsoft, Oracle, Intel, Apple, Red Hat, Novell, Debian, Mentor Graphics 
etc. to all agree to implement almost-100% conforming compilers that can 
compile your official library implementation correctly?
