The equivalent of MongoDB but in the shape of SQLite. Basically a nosql
database providing document schemes but that is
a library and is designed to be used inside an application, not as a
separate process. It would not need to provide features
related to distributed DB (like sqlite), and just work with a file (or
several, whatever).

However I must clarify that I can't consider commercial products, so it's
either an open source and free equivalent or a standardized one
that I am interested in. SQLite would do the trick but SQL don't really
match my (evolving a lot) use case.

I didn't read the document fully yet so I'm not sure if it's the kind of
tech I was looking for.
